It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of former county starter Brian Saunders, who passed away yesterday after a long illness. We do not have any funeral details as yet, but we will inform you all when we are aware. Our thoughts are with Brian’s family at this very difficult time. Colin Bee President/County Secretary
The annual matchplay tournament against teams from Lancashire, Cheshire and Shropshire & Herefordshire took place at Formby GC on 10-11 April
Due to the continued wet weather should clubs not be able to play their match on the above date, please contact your opponents as soon as possible to re-arrange the match later in the season.
No club may claim the match due to this situation, all we need to know is when the fixture is to be re-played.
