MATCH AGAINST STAFFORDSHIRE @WOLLATON PARK GC 2ND JUNE
Here we go sports fans the second match of the season is here at a stunning golf course Wollaton Park Golf Club against Staffordshire.
Well after a win from the first match of the season the lads once again turned up full of confidence and ready to go. With the morning sun beating down on us the lads were off and what a good morning in the foursomes it was winning 3-2.
Just a special mention to Martin Scothern (Head Greenkeeper) and his team, the course was in superb condition very challenging, but rewarding from good golf played and the greens were amazing.
The afternoon started and the wind picked up, but the sun still shinning, everyone in high spirits after the morning result, winning six matches out of ten making the final result 9-6.
I would like to thank the lads for their continued support and focus and the officials Edgar Bramwell and Michael Boulton also.
