PRESIDENT’S AM/AM REPORT
There was a field of 15 teams which was a little disappointing but none the less all those who participated enjoyed the day.
The course was in great condition a credit to Oakmere and the greens staff getting it in peak condition.
The winners of the day were the Cheshire Cats team with 126 points, who were Bob Ward, Ian Cheshire, Paul Thresher, and Lloyd Young a big well done to them.
There were 6 main prizes, also best back 9, best front 9 and nearest the pin.
A big thank you to those who contributed to the raffle prizes in which £308.00 was made and those clubs who offered fourballs as prizes.
Overall, we made approx. £1,000 on the day to go towards the Nippers and Junior coaching, which we really appreciate.
Next year the County course is Wollaton Park GC so we look forward to seeing you all next year.
