MEN’S FIRST TEAM WIN FIRST LEAGUE MATCH

A good start to the season against the reigning champions, we as a team have made a lot of changes to how we are going to approach matches this season, and already I think we are seeing positive signs within the group that these changes will benefit our development.
Our foursomes pairings looked more balanced but still room for improvement and some small tweaks maybe needed.
Singles we were solid, but we needed a good start, which we got through Jack Sallis and Jordan Boultom winning. We had a mix of youth and experience at the back and that gave us wins from Matt Hogg, Cole Betteridge and the evergreen Jamie Farnsworth.

It was also nice to hand debuts to Dean Reddington and George Cordall. It was great to also welcome back Matt Hogg.
Next up is Derbyshire who are a good side that will offer up another stern test for us.
