Jack Prescott Open Report

The Jack Prescott Junior Open Took place at Chilwell Manor GC on Sunday 9th July, this was Jack Prescott’s home club.

The course was in superb condition and a credit to Green staff.

The main event is the Nett Trophy, but the event also has age related Gross prizes.

In the U18’s Gross prize, Jorja Newbold (Oakmere Park GC) shot a superb 69 Gross to win the Scratch with Rueben Tennant (Worksop GC) finishing runner up with a 75 Gross.

In the U16’s Gross competition, the winner was 13year old Harry Banner (Sherwood Forest GC), who shot a 73 Gross, runner up was Chas Richardson who shot 74.

Moving onto the Nett prizes and the main event of the day, in 3rd place was Oakmere’s Josh Green who shot a Nett 66, in runner up spot was henry Keeton (Oakmere P) who also shot Nett 66 beating Green on the back 9.

The winner of the Jack Prescott Trophy was Lucas Hedstrom (Ruddington Grange) , who’s Nett 62 blew the field away.

Well done to all of the Competitors and parents who supported the event.
