CLEAN SWEEP FOR NOTTS TEAMS IN MIDLAND LEAGUE
The second team had already won the league title when they played Staffordshire at Radcliffe on Sunday but finished off in fine style with a convincing win to finish the season without dropping any points. Well done to all the players and to second team captain Anthony Wain for his leadership and encouragement.
The first team needed a win against Staffordshire at Little Aston GC to secure the title. This they did comfortably and took the title on points won from Warwickshire in second place. A big well done to all the team and to County Captain Malcolm Brown who has shown great leadership, support and guidance throughout the year.
