BOYS CHAMPIONSHIP AND HANDICAP CHAMPIONSHIP REPORT

There were 22 players entered in the Boys Championship.

The winner was Lennon Albans from The Nottinghamshire GC with a total of 70+75 = 145. He will also represent Nottinghamshire in the EG Champ of Champs at Woodhall Spa on Saturday 10th Sept and in the Midland U18 Champ of Champs at Burghley Park GC on 18th September. 2nd place was George Cordall from Worksop GC with a total of 75 + 73=148 and in 3rd place was Matthew Fox from Norwood Park with a total of 81 +72 = 153.

U16 winner was Kailash Krishnan from SOTW GC and will represent Nottinghamshire in the Midland Champ of Champs.

U14 winner was Owen Rafferty from Worksop GC who will also represent Nottinghamshire in the Midland Champ of Champs.

A big well done to all those winners who will represent Nottinghamshire.

The Handicap Championship was also played on the same day and there 21 entries.

The winner was Ethan Sheilds from Norwood Park GC with a Nett 70.

2nd place was Luke Kirton from Newark GC with a Nett70 also and in 3rd place was Joshua Stevens from Ruddington Grange GC with a Nett 71.

A big thankyou to Oakmere Park, the course was in good condition considering the dry weather we have had, and they looked after all players and officials to their high standard as always.
