EDDIE PETERS TROPHY REPORT

The annual Jack Prescott Trophy took place at its host club today, Chilwell Manor. The event attracted nearly 50 players. The course was in excellent condition and as usual we were very well received by the club.

Scoring was tough, despite the fairly benign conditions. The competition is a combination of both Nett & Gross prizes, with the winner being the best nett overall.

Best Nett & overall winner – Harry Hadson (Chilwell Manor)

Best Scratch score U18’s – Oliver Worthington (Oakmere Admirals)

Best Scratch score U16’s – Burt Wagner – (Chilwell Manor)

Best Scratch score U14’s - Charlie Annable – (Rushcliffe)

2nd place Nett – Burt Wagner – (Chilwell Manor)

3rd place Nett – Theodore Pearson – (Worksop)

Also, today the winners of the Lamplugh Trophy with scores taken from the Cyril Sellick and Jack Prescott trophy were Worksop GC. The players who will represent Nottinghamshire in the EG Junior Champion Club at Woodhall Spa on 11th/12th August are Aaron Morley, Jesse Doughty & Reuben Beecroft.
