U18s WIN FIRST THREE LEAGUE MATCHES
Nott’s v Cambridgeshire:-
This was the first match since 2019 and was played at Stanton on the Wolds GC on Sunday 18th July
The team:- George Cordall, James Birch, Lennon Albans, Kai Krishnan, Adam Bexon (capt) Billy Noon, Tyler Alsopp, Thomas Baxter,
Frazer Youens (VCapt), Matthew Fox
The morning foursomes looked to be in Cambridgeshire favour until our 5th match when Frazer & Matthew came in with a win making the result 2½/ 2½
The afternoon singles led by George as No1 finished all square before 5 wins and then a half which gave us a 6 - 4 win in the singles
The overall results was Nott’s 8½ -Cambridgeshire 6½
Stanton’s course was in fantastic condition and the boys enjoyed the test

Tri Corner – Nott’s v Northamptonshire v Lincolnshire
Played at Overstone Park GC, Northamptonshire on Thursday 22nd July
Eight lads travelled the day before for a practice round and found the course in good condition but a strong test of skills
Morning foursome’s scores:- Nott’s v -Lincs – 3-2 - Nott’s v Northants- 5-0
Special mention must go to Thomas Baxter and his partner William Archer who both travelled to the match that morning, and hadn’t played the course before. They won their match 4 & 3 Lincs and 4 & 2 Northants. A huge thanks to William who stepped in to save the day at the eleven hour.
Afternoon singles again led by George giving us 2 valuable points’ resulted in some great games. Nott’s v Lincs 6½ - 3½ - Nott’s v Northants 5 -5
All the boys performed over and above expectations and in scorching temperatures
